PAF formally accepts third and last C295M and four upgraded UH-1D Helicopters

MANILA, -- The Philippine Air Force held a simple acceptance, turn-over and blessing ceremony of one C295M and four upgraded UH-1 Helicopters last January 20, 2016 at Clark Air Base, Pampanga.

The ceremony was headed by the Commander of Air Logistic Command (ALC), MGEN ISAGANI P SILVA AFP.

This would be the third and last delivery of the C295M which arrived last December 11, 2015 at Clark Air Base, Pampanga and was issued to 220th Airlift Wing of the Philippine Air Force on December 29, 2015.

Likewise, the four UH-1 Helicopters have upgraded engine series, installed with tail boom strake and fast fin and passed the Armed Forces of the Philippines Technical Inspection and Acceptance Committee (AFPTIAC) last December 16, 2015.
